Hospital Visiting hours and Guidelines

Hours

Visits from family and friends greatly enhance the healing process. Our visiting hours are designed to provide patients with the maximum rest and recovery time. Visitors are limited to two at a time. Children ages 12 and under are not allowed to visit patient areas of the hospital. Children waiting in the lobby must be under adult supervision at all times.

Medical/Surgical Floor: 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Labor/Delivery/Nursery: 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Behavioral Health Unit: 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Monday – Friday, 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Saturday – Sunday

Guidelines

Gifts

Gifts can do a lot to cheer up a patient.  Flowers, stuffed animals, books and games are terrific items to give to a patient.  Balloons, of course, can also brighten up a room.  However, for safety reasons, only mylar balloons are permitted in the hospital.  All latex balloons are prohibited.

Visitor Identification

Every visitor to Bellflower Medical Center is required to check in and obtain a visitor's identification badge. The badge is to be worn at all times while in the hospital. These badges are obtained from the front desk clerk.
