Emergency Room

Bellflower Medical Center’s Emergency Department is open seven days per week, 24 hours per day to provide emergency medical care to our patients. Highly trained professionals deliver exceptional care to more than 12,000 people each year. Our doors are open to all patients who need care, regardless of ability to pay.

Our Emergency Department is staffed by board certified physicians and nurses certified in advanced cardiac life support. Specialists in all fields of medicine can be called on as needed. Laboratory, Imaging and Cardiopulmonary services are available for emergency patients 24 hours per day.

Bellflower Medical Center plans to expand the Emergency Department in early 2008 to better accommodate the growing number of people who need our services. This expansion will add eleven (11) new beds to the Department.
